Dec 8th Midwife visit
I am still dialated to a 2′ she says but it’s a loose two. We are hoping for last weekend, but now that’s past. My parents are on their way up through Phoenix, Az. It’s snowing here pretty good all the way from Breckenridge to Colorado Springs, through Flagstaff Az. Were still trying to get this trailer ready for winter. Now our Washer and dryer isnt working along with our water heater. We are truly camping.

December 1st Update
The midwife said my cervix has thinned and the baby’s head has dropped and everything looks ready, I just have to go into labor. I am still dilated to a 2″ but she said the baby’s head will open that up. She said maybe not today or tomorrow but by Saturday something should happen. The midwife also said she is facing the ceiling instead of the floor, no wonder why my back is killing me, and that i need to spend more time on my knees with my belly hanging over the ground to urge her to turn. She gave me some good news that this is a small baby, no more 9 pounders for this girl. So now my cold just needs to go away so I can get some rest.

Thanksgiving Update
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week. I am going to see the Midwives weekly now, and there is no change since I seen them last. I was disappointed, I was hoping to hear I was dilated more than just a 2. So we are still waiting. I will keep up the blog if anything changes.

What’s Happening
Hello, last weeks visit to the midwives got cancelled and moved to today. She checked and said I was dilated to a 2 and my cervix has thinned about 30% so things seem like they are moving along quickly. We might not make it till December which is just fine with me. Until then I will continue finishing my apple pie and eating lots of fruit.

Update
Hopefully we will keep the blog up through labor. Everything is going normally. The doc says all I have to do is wait. I’ve gained 30 pounds so far. And I will post those pics soon. Now all that Halloween candy isnt distracting me no more to eat it, it should be fine. We got a month and two weeks left.
